There
are two characteristics or needs an entrepreneur has that sets them apart as
just that, an entrepreneur. First, an undying passion for what they do in
business. Second, the need to find unique fulfillment in his/her life.
As
an entrepreneur, a typical quality you might have is a strong passion for what
you do. Owning a company is high stress and hard work. If you don’t love what
you do, what is it that will push you through tough times? Passion for what
you’re doing will help drive success (Andersen, 2014).
Entrepreneurs
in the role of an employee might find themselves to be in a state of the
mundane. A robot. Doing a task day in and day out, just to bring home the
bacon. He/she needs to find a deeper fulfillment in his/her work life. Starting
a company can patch this hole, and bring excitement back into the life of a
natural entrepreneur. By starting a company, an entrepreneur will find the
daunting task stirring (Nguyen, 2014). It will bring new experiences to the
table that keep you satisfied with your work.
Finding
success as an entrepreneur takes passion and a need for fulfillment in your
work life. Working through tough situations will take passion for what it is
you’re working on. Breaking out into the entrepreneurial field is usually a
consequence of a need to end the mundane and find unique fulfillment in work
life. These two characteristics and needs are distinctive to entrepreneurs and
are what pushes them and businesses forward.
